Brief 1 – Perspective
Perspectives is a brief that has allowed me to ask myself questions about who I am and what makes me, me. The brief requirements include: Create a Quadriptych that produces a response to the questions: Who are you? What is it that you do? Where are you from? and Why Design?
Brief 2 – Process
Process is a brief that allows me to explore my own practice and how I work as a designer. This brief required me to think about explore my own technical skills and how I can improve them. This then needed to be documented into a single piece of work. My own practice and ways of approaching a project can be seen as quite chaotic and has allowed me to see that I need to work on pulling back the chaos and streamline the process.
Brief 3 – Message Delivered
Message delivered is a brief that allows me to explore my own area and consider how it is different from everywhere else. The idea is to look at the area from a new perspective. As part of this, I decided to produce a mobile app that talks about the protected areas of Barnsley that ever expanding industrialisation is not allowed to ruin and take away from us. The mobile app is designed to allow people to experience my location for themselves. Click here to experience it for yourself
