This week I have started to look at brief three of the assignment. I have not yet made much progress with it, but I have started to look at the assignment and plan where I was going and what part of my area I am going to explore.

Relationship between form and function
- Pick up a pencil and see what happens.
- Learning through touch
- Active reflection – constantly thinking about what is present in front of you and actively assessing what is working or what isn’t.

- ‘What makes peoples hearts in every case is the unknown. Thing that people already know, don’t excite them, and get people have a great zeal for making the world known’.
- Embracing the unknown is important – but it sits uncomfortable with us.
- You have to trust that you are going to come up with something useful. Something interesting
- Make yourself vulnerable to the senses around you.
- Authorical, freelance, self generated work is hard and you have to be disciplined
- You have to use your time management skills on yourself as though you are the client
- Stop wishing and just accept what is in front of you. Just do it or change it.
- Look at scale. How can you use it differently. How can objects make you interact with scale differently. E.g. using time to influence scale.
